This visa allows you to come to Australia on a temporary basis to do specific types of work:

• Take part in an approved special program – Stay for up to 12 months
• Do full-time religious work for a religious institution – Stay for up to 2 years
• Work in the entertainment industry – Stay for up to 2 years
• Work in Australia as a crew member of a superyacht – Stay for up to 12 months
• Participate or observe in an Australian research project – Stay for up to 2 years
• Work in a skilled position under a staff exchange arrangement – Stay for up to 2 years
• Do full-time domestic work in the household of certain senior foreign executives – Stay for up to 2 years
• Participate in events which are endorsed by the Australian Government – Stay for up to 4 years
• Participate in activities at the invitation of an Australian organisation – Stay for up to 3 months
• Participate in high-level sports competitions or sports training programs – Stay for up to 2 years

You might be eligible for this visa if:

• You have the skills to undertake the activity to be carried out
• You have an approved sponsor or have the support of an organisation or individual in Australia  
• Have the skills to undertake the activity to be carried out in Australia
• Have adequate financial support for you and your family while you are in Australia
• Meet additional requirements of the relevant stream
• Genuinely intend to remain temporarily in Australia to do the work or activity specified in your application
