Skilled Recognised Graduate (Subclass 476) Visa
This visa enables recent engineering graduates of recognised institution to come to Australia on an 18 month visa to gain skilled work experience. Applicants must be outside Australia when the visa is granted. 18 months starts from the date of first entry to Australia.
You must:
- Be under 31 years of age
- Have completed an engineering degree at a recognised educational institution in the past two years
- Not have previously been the primary visa holder of a subclass 476 or 485 visa
- Meet English requirement
- Meet character and health requirement
- Haven’t had a visa cancelation or previous visa refusal
English requirement for Subclass 485 and Subclass 476 is as follows
- Hold a passport from the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada or New Zealand
- IELTS (Academic or General Training): Overall score of at least of 6 with a minimum score of 5 in each band
- Pearson (PTE Academic): Overall score of at least 50 with a minimum score of 36 in each band
- TOEFL iBT (Internet Based Test): Total score of 64 with a minimum score of 4 in Listening and Reading, and at least 14 in Writing and Speaking
- Cambridge (CAE): Overall at least 169 with a minimum score of 154 in each band
- Occupational English Test (OET): B Pass in each band
